Website Baker Templates

Just released today is a template originally designed by the excellent Luka Cvrk. This template has a wide range of possibilities open to it and the website baker template can be easily customised to allow you to achieve what you would like. I will run through some of the steps here.

The colour scheme and block layout of this website makes it particularly suited to a portfolio site, design site or other low number of categories or top level option web site style.

Main Menu - Line 20

This is the main menu of the template, but it doesn't really support over 5 options. This should definately be a consideration, therefore, in whether or not you choose this template for your website.

Slogan - Line 26

Replace this text with your own website slogan, or just simply cancel it out with a non breaking space if you don't want to have a slogan.

Small Menu Possibility - Line 30

Commented out here is the possibility to have a very small menu where the Option Option appears on the template. You can also, naturally, choose to have nothing here at all. Be aware that it only supports short menu names.

Left Side Content - Line 38

Two possibilities exist here. The first is to have a block section on each page so as to provide a highlight for that page or some other important facts you wish to highlight. The second option is to delete the page_content line entirely and replace it with your own HTML code so that the same content appears on all of the pages. It's entirely up to you!

General CSS Comments

There are a number of excellent possibilities contained within the CSS file to pretty up any dull pages and the original design author has certainly provided for all eventualities! Experiment and have fun! ;)
